What I liked
Kathy has a quality I can only describe as Gilda Radner-like. She is approachable, wise, childlike, brilliant, and a kook. Her use of photos and music had me howling with laughter and choking back tears. She is an expert storyteller.
What I didn't like
The show was personal and, thus, perfect in its own way.
My overall impression
This show truly is something beautiful. Kathy has navigated the waters of hope, love, and loss in LA for over 3 decades. Now she is older and wiser with a heart that is still big and open, albeit bruised. She is an engaging storyteller who has woven a poignant tale from her life’s highs and lows.
