Simplicity, specificity, vulnerability: registering primal emotions and leaving the audience with a positive take-away.

My overall impression
This very personal reflection of loss and renewal, performed in an intimate venue, invites the audience into a half-hour of sharing and contemplation. Comic at times, wise and vulnerable, the solo delivers in the writing, acting and direction, with lovely visuals culled from Melissa’s family album. A special show that encourages immediate identification with one’s own family journey.
