What I liked
I had the lucky chance to see the show in different stages of its rehearsal process, but seeing it in the venue with the light, music, costume, props, and the sets was incredible and even better than I imagined it could be! I’ve been to the show twice since it opened and I thoroughly enjoyed the two completely different experiences I got!!! From working with the UNION STRONG Cogwork Orthodoxy to the mysterious ways of the Speaker, you will uncover secrets, boot people out of office, and choose who the next leader of the Church of the Broken God will be. Definitely going again before it closes!!!
What I didn't like
There is not much in my opinion could be improved on in this show. The one thing that I find that could be improved is the waiting time to talk to the characters. The first show I went to there was little to no wait to talk to the characters and to be sent on quests, but second show (which had a smaller audience) had me waiting for a longer time to talk to characters. At times my friend and I had to wait up to nearly 5 minutes to get the attention of the character(s) we needed to speak to, which made it difficult to complete certain tasks and quest lines that helps to carry the story along.
My overall impression
The best Last Call Theater production I’ve seen!!! Reforged is unlike any other immersive show I’ve ever experienced!!! This Sci-fi steampunk world of the unknown has this unique charm that lures in and captures the audience through the choose your own adventure style of the show. No two shows will ever be the same!
