The one-woman-show aspect worked wonders and I was a big fan of the lighting and sound cues along with the props/set dec and blocking/staging. I felt as if I was on this life journey with Lisa as she took us through the last 50 years of her existence. Absolutely mesmerizing.
What I didn't like
I honestly have no notes. This was a tour de force powerhouse of a performance and experience. It must be witnessed to understand the awe and gravitas of this story and this performance. I can’t think of a better show I’ve ever seen.
My overall impression
This was one of the most personal, thoughtful, emotional and truthful shows I’ve seen in a long while that delves into a the core of humanity. I couldn’t take my eyes off of Lisa as she unabashedly bared herself to the world. What an absolutely incredible experience.
