My overall impression
Jenna Podell leaves no crumbs as she imagines the condiment-soaked rise and fall of an icon in “RONALD.” For better or for worse, we all know Ronald the Clown. Ronald’s face, fries, and painted charm have embedded themselves onto our waistlines and into our hearts, but have we considered how he might’ve risen to fame? Can someone love a burger enough to give it their own face? Could you? Would you trade the comfort of routine for a spotlight and all of the MSG you can gargle? Will you ever be the same after watching Ronald go from shaking his buns to sobbing uncontrollably into his Last Burger? We encourage you to snag those last available tickets, and find out.✨
