Performances by Pam Eberhardt and Tyler Hayes Stillwell were both incredibly funny as well as deeply believable. I liked the smooth flow of this play that moved swiftly at a pace that resembled sketch comedy. Included shorter blackout pieces, multimedia, and wonderful character transformations. While funny as hell, it packs an important message about the consequences of the death penalty and the justice system. It’s a show with a lot of heart.
What I didn't like
Some of my favorite parts of the show included the slides on the screen. It framed the comedy and was also used to convey important stories and statistics. Some of the longer frames could be on screen longer, for folks who read a bit slower. At the same time, I loved the pace and I can see where slowing it down too much for that observation could affect the overall flow.
My overall impression
I really enjoyed this show for it’s comedy, the story and of course the message it brings to the stage.
