What I liked
Byron’s characterization of himself and others at 3 different stages in his life. There are laughs and tears, but we all come away better having learned through Byron’s perspective. What Byron can do just with his eyes and silence is powerful.
What I didn't like
Maybe the transitions between eras could be cleaned up, but this is fringe and Byron is juggling a lot, so it did not take away from my enjoyment of this show and his performance of the material.
My overall impression
Excellently executed storytelling of the triumphs and tribulations of Byron’s life experiences as a black man in America.
