What I liked
The conversations were vulnerable, real and some of the actors gave really strong performances.
What I didn't like
I wish the blocking would’ve been a little more dynamic (in most scenes characters were only sitting, and I think having them move around the stage and interacting a little more would have added additional weight to the dialogue). “Passing” was briefly addressed but I also wish there would have been more conversation dedicated to and focus given specifically to the experience of physical transitioning.
My overall impression
Edgy. Provocative. Powerful.
If every person on planet earth saw this play, the world would be kinder.
