What I liked

While the show promises to be a thought-provoking exploration of uncharted conversational territories, there is a risk that the mix of comedy and tragedy could feel disjointed or overwhelming if not balanced effectively. Additionally, the description of leaving audiences with more questions than answers may leave some viewers feeling unsatisfied or wanting more closure. Without careful execution, the show’s vulnerability and weirdness could potentially come across as forced or contrived, detracting from the authenticity of the performance.

What I didn't like

“We’ve Never Talked About This Before” appears to be a promising and unique theatrical experience that offers a refreshing take on relationships and communication. The show’s blend of comedy, tragedy, and relatability, coupled with the real-life inspirations from Ash and Berrios, sets the stage for a compelling exploration of human connections. While there are potential pitfalls in balancing the different tones and ensuring authenticity in vulnerability Eggy Car, the overall premise and comparison to Lucy and Desi giving a Ted Talk make this show one that is worth experiencing to uncover its layers of truth and humor .

My overall impression

The concept of “We’ve Never Talked About This Before” is intriguing, delving into the complexities of relationships and communication dynamics. The blend of comedy and tragedy, along with the promise of raw honesty, creates a compelling narrative that is likely to resonate with audiences. The use of real-life experiences from Lauren Ash and Jorge “Miami” Berrios adds authenticity to the show, offering a unique perspective on relationships. The comparison to Lucy and Desi giving a Ted Talk suggests a mix of humor, vulnerability, and unexpected insights that pique interest and promise an engaging experience.
