What I liked
I appreciated learning about Petru’s journey and felt he literally acted it out in such a way that, even though he was by himself, I knew what he went through, and who he had been with our talked to. There was frustration, joy, being let down, excitement, and sadness, and we felt it all right along with him.
What I didn't like
There wasn’t anything that I felt could be improved. I watched it twice and enjoyed it just as much the 2nd time as I did the first. I don’t understand Hungarian but didn’t feel the need to.
My overall impression
I was astounded! Petru showed his experience of coming to America through his performance which included miming, one-sided multilingual dialogue, a plant in the audience, perfectly timed music to go with whatever was happening in the scene. Through trials and tribulations he made it here and did it his way.
