My favorite part was the refrain of the show which is a theme that’s much more universal than the realm of alien encounters.
“Do you believe me?”
I think that’s something everyone wants.
Everything else in the show is so fun and well crafted – the talented performer, the characters, the audience play, the movement.
But if I could only choose one thing, I’d want this person sharing their truth, and asking me vulnerably “you believe me, right?”
This show reminded me of the times I was scared that I might be crazy, and how good it felt to be heard and understood and BELIEVED.

This show, based on a true account of sex with an alien, is tender, playful, and alive.
I enjoyed being part of the “alien encounter meeting” that was the premise of sharing the story.
I started to imagine (remember?) my own close encounter.
