Just such a funny show, so well performed. An honestly and generously offered comedy blended with a true story of disappointment, disillusionment and the ways we come home to ourselves, the way our lives curve in the arc of bringing ourselves back to ourselves. Mel is an incredibly magnetic and sparking performer, such a talented playwright, and, frankly, we in the audience thought she was pretty dang special after all!
What I didn't like
I refuse to answer this question, absolutely nothing.
My overall impression
Mel is such an adept performer, such a charming, hilarious, heartfelt presence and expertly balances between the absolutely absurd and the totally understandable, relatable heartaches of being human (and a human artist). There are also SURPRISES in the show that I won’t ruin but, just, wow.
