I think Melanie Johnson was brilliant. There wasn’t a single moment that fell flat. She shined as she put an enjoyable twist on the ups and downs of what being an artist is like in Los Angeles. She brought a very specific flavor to the concept that hasn’t been done before. I enjoyed it from start to finish. I laughed. I cried. Phenomenal.
What I didn't like
I honestly just wanted it to be longer and hear more stories. I was bummed when I realized it was over.
My overall impression
I think the show was well done and well directed. Everything was so minimalistic but in a way that put me at ease. It felt like beautiful conversation with someone I knew and got on with well.
