What I liked

I was a child of the ’70’s, and this teleported me to very specific feelings… feelings that I can only now put words to, a half-century later. What it’s like to be parented by parents who are really just kids themselves, whose own parents were recovering from the trauma of two world wars… so many secrets, no therapists, the confusion of sudden “freedoms,” sexual or otherwise, in a shaky social container unable to hold rapidly unraveling cultural norms. I mean, wow… this is the very reason for festivals like this to exist. Don’t let the words “work in progress” fool you. The craft and the depth of artistry here is mind blowing. The performances, the writing, the music… just do yourself a massive favor and see this.
