What I liked
Cool costumes and distinct characters. A true DND experience. Excellent portrayal of gelatinous cube. Glad to see fun arcs for each of the characters. Don’t want to leave too many spoilers. Crowd was also clearly fans and there was a great energy in the space for the performance. Witty writing and clear comedic timing.
What I didn't like
Interested in seeing a more full out commitment on the “sexyness” of the Whitney character, moments when the power imbued in her by the game takes over. Still comedic in tone but without the awkward edge of her character from the start.
My overall impression
Very funny show, and definitely enjoyed all the DND lore/easter eggs. A go to for DND fans and fantasy fans for sure!
