What I liked
The energy was very playful and frenetic, bouncing manically from scene to scene, a rapid-fire delivery machine for jokes, drama, and scathing observations aimed at those who like to cosplay as activists
What I didn't like
I think the show would be even stronger if the performances were more grounded
My overall impression
A very solid reinterpretation of a modern classic. The colorful cast of hypocrites provokes a bevy of deep laughs as well as exasperated groans. Fun, funny, with something important to say about the ways we fail to live up to our ideals
