What I liked
Anthony’s presence. He shares the findings of serious scholarship, strengthened by his own lived experience and sharp observation. Asks hard questions about the ways America has been fractured. Maybe you’ve thought of some of them, but couldn’t find your way to the answers. Anthony quickly forges a close connection with each person in the audience, and guides them to the answers. And you realize you already knew it, but too often looked away. Too busy living your life.
He draws on the words and insights of James Baldwin, who joins him on the large screen, embodied by the incomparable Charles Reese. Baldwin pounds the exclamation point of undeniable truth on what Anthony helps us to see and understand.
What I didn't like

My overall impression
Great show. Anthony connects with each member of the audience and holds them so they can’t look away. You walk out feeling changed, and wish that everyone would see, experience, learn what you just have.
