What I liked
I really liked how seamlessly the show integrated lessons and personal connections/experiences. Black History is seldom taught in schools our outside spaces unless you go seek it out. This play not only captured and held my attention, but it taught me more that I learned in school.
What I didn't like
I think more audience interaction could provide additional engagement. People tend to note and remember conversations , discussions, and things they participated in.
My overall impression
I thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was a nice surprise to learn so much about Black history and to think about my own life and experience from a new view and perspective.
