Becca Lustgarten’s performance and script paints a portrait of a charming yet deeply flawed person without ever losing sight of her humanity. The ever-looming presence of the phone on stage, and when it might ring (despite Auntie B’s explicit wishes), adds an impressive level of tension to a 45 minute run time.

My overall impression
Dear Auntie B is an impressive, one-woman character study that is alternately witty and heartbreaking.
