The writing, acting and directing were so specifically crafted. Becca has you in the palm of her hand by the end of her first line. The entire audience was laughing with her instantly. It is so funny and the character she plays is incredibly detailed. Every moment of the show is carefully thought out and not a moment is left unattended throughout the piece. There is subtle foreshadowing throughout keeping the audience on the edge of their seats and then a shocking reveal towards that had several audience members gasping. Not only is it hilarious, it’s also incredibly moving and had the audience in tears at times. It had me thinking about my own marriage and I think it’s a piece many can relate with in some way. It was really a wonderful night at the theatre and Becca and Sally should be incredibly proud of the show they have crafted. Go see it!
What I didn't like
Nothing – go see it!
My overall impression
Auntie B was fantastic and I highly recommend everyone buy tickets immediately to check it out before it closes at the end of June.
