What I liked
Pacing was fantastic – I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Seriously funny bits from main two goo checkers, the restaurant manager was incredible as a straight character, the critic and her girlfriend were hilarious, and oh my god….the goo ambassador. No notes. I will never look at fruity pebbles the same way again.
What I didn't like
There were some points where delivery of lines felt unsteady – like actors were confused about what part comes next in the script. It almost felt borderline improv at parts (beginning-near middle), which really brought me out of the super-scripted fast-paced rest of the show. I think some clarification of line orders would help with anticipation problems. Seriously incredible script!! I was dying the entire time!
My overall impression
SO weird and great! Love love loved it! For fans of I Think You Should Leave, SNL, etc…it was a wild ride from start to finish!
