What I liked
Kelsey’s ability to be both touchingly earnest and wildly funny simultaneously makes this show a goddamn blast from start to finish. It made me dance and sing and want to give my middle school self the biggest hug.

My overall impression
Kelsey Flynn is a bona-fide emo-rockstar and a hell of a storyteller. Combining her favorite song from that most formative of times (middle school) with all the wonderful, beautiful, cringe-y moments that those songs got her through, she invites the audience to revel in what it means to love music and, ultimately, yourself. If you’re looking for a fucking fun time, don’t miss this show.
