What I liked
Lucinda is a performer who demands attention – She is incredibly grounded and specific in her movements and inflection. She draws the audience’s attention with such ease. And as a writer, she knows exactly what details to include in a more poetic piece to get a visceral reaction from her viewers. The direction is well focused, with light/audio cues varying in pace to progress the story in a way that feels in line with Lucinda’s journey growing up. Really excellent.

My overall impression
Incredibly touching, earnest piece of art. Such a poetic and breathtaking performance – and the writing is gorgeous. The visual effects were incredibly effective for how minimalist it seems. Such a strong, personal solo show.
