I loved the simple bare black stage; no projections, mood lighting, and classical music playing at key moments and a single armed chair center stage, all working together to make writer and performer, Lucinda Papia, the focus. Zoë Papia’s direction was simple, yet specific, giving the actor the freedom to simply convey the heartfelt words to the audience.
What I didn't like
I can’t think of anything I would change.
My overall impression
A poetic and powerfully moving tale of a mother-daughter relationship that hit all the right notes.
