Tone and vibe, fun supporting images and pace of the show. Plus, she’s a great storyteller.
What I didn't like
The thrust stage means some people on the ends don’t get great views of the screen – but that just means you want to show up early!
My overall impression
What a fun, fast frolic as Vikki shares her story of learning about her biological father! She’s a great storyteller, and has a casual vibe – from her staging to her wardrobe – and it feels more like a dish session with good friends instead of a “look at me” one-person show. The laughs are hard and fast, and she earns the touching moments that round out this excellent show.
