I appreciated the segment in which Harold paid tribute to the Japanese American soldiers who fought so valiantly during WWII. Two of my uncles were with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team and my father also fought in Europe, though with an integrated unit. Plus, my wife and I got to take part in the show.
What I didn't like
Can’t think of a thing. The show was perfectly paced and the intimate setting engaged the audience without the need for amplification.
My overall impression
Harold Payne is a gifted singer-songwriter so it was quite a treat to hear him perform written and improvised songs as he reflected on an amazing career and life experiences. The hour blew by fast.
