The clever use of Isla’s own handmade aprons in the staging, and the attention to detail down to a delightful monologue about the virtues of flour sack dresses was delightful.
What I didn't like
I saw the first night. There were a few minor technical glitches that I’m sure have now been ironed out!
My overall impression
Inspired me to celebrate the single women who’ve come before me and wear my quirks like a badge of honor…even if I don’t make my own aprons to pin one on. Tamara’s thoughtful and touching portrayal ensures that Great Aunt Isla lives on.
