What I liked

The set! The trees were very cool, and I loved watching how different the space became after the team put in the set. My crew and I were the show before, and it felt like in 5 minutes, the Where Within crew had changed the Zephyr into a completely different space.

I was a big fan of the costume and makeup designs of the Fae and the wisps. I loved the use of color and at times the use of uniting colors, especially between the wisps.

The story reminded me of a cross between Peter Pan and a DND campaign set in the woods, and I felt right at home. The music was wonderful.

What I didn't like

The sound of the music was very loud, and I struggled to hear all the lyrics, even in the front row.

I felt the story ended quite suddenly, and it felt like the wisps never really had a choice in going back to where they came from. The fear they felt of the Ferryman felt real and raw, and what felt like their immediate acceptance of their fate made me sad and want to see them fight harder. All that to be said, this play really is wonderful and I HIGHLY recommended it to anyone looking for a good time.

My overall impression

WHAT A FANTASTIC SHOW! This was a beautifully composed piece full of love and heart and wonder. The movement of the wisps onstage was enchanting, and Fetch was haunting yet heart-wrenching at the same time. The love, care, and dedication to the process was felt from top to bottom.
