What I liked
The sets were simple, but effective. I thought the playful way the actors rearranged the sets was fun. The singers’ voices were generally good. The general outline of the story was easy to understand.
What I didn't like
The story lost me at moments perhaps in part because, at times, I couldn’t hear some of the actors voices. (They spoke quietly so when they faced away from me they were unclear; they could stand a little practice projecting.) A nit, I wasn’t clear on the relationship between the main characters (brother and sister) until very late in the play. I don’t know if I missed it or if it wasn’t laid out clearly enough early.
My overall impression
I enjoyed the show. I found it fun, interesting and I liked the music. At almost 90 minutes it was long, but it held by attentions throughout.
