Ambitious songs and clever scenery changes with the will-o’-the-wisp characters playfully moving the set pieces around.
What I didn't like
The two main characters are barely established before they encounter magical characters in the woods, so we don’t have as a clear a picture as we should of how the experience changes them. We need to know more about who they were at the beginning so we have a stronger sense of they have changed by the ending.
My overall impression
Lots of good vibes from the songs, scenery, and performances, but the story fell short.
