What I liked
This show had such fun and sharp writing, the range of the actors to make you laugh and sympathize with them really floored me.
Andy and Jonny had such great chemistry whether they were best buds or at each others throats. I loved the high school reunion scene, it had all of the dark humor I could want with Andy’s late wife while flirting with his old high school sweetheart.
The dancing intermissions were the perfect palette cleanser in between the heavy scenes that made me want to dance right alongside them.
I don’t go to plays very often but I’m very happy I got to see this one and I can’t wait to come back!
What I didn't like
I loved seeing Christmas decorations get put up throughout the Christmas party scene, I would’ve loved to have seen more to further my immersion but I was laughing the whole time, that’s essentially a nitpick.
My overall impression
I haven’t enjoyed being sad and laughing so much
