My overall impression

Ruth’s story is one of resilience, self love, and of course, humor. She captures this story beautifully in Happily Divorced. I felt like I was on the journey alongside her the whole show, which is due to Ruth’s powerful writing and performance.

She connects various stages of her life with emotion and wit, and shares all the wisdom she collects along the way. More than anything, Happily Divorced is a brave testament of a woman’s journey back to herself, and the happiness and fulfillment that come with it.
