What I liked

I loved the pacing, I felt engaged the entire time. I thought I was about to be a sleepy boy (as I am with most historically accurate shows) but NOPE. The characters Jay Wright and Ned Spangler represented the two sides of America during the civil war and they both pulled on my heart in different ways. UK native Laura Keene was the objective observer and her banter with Harry Hawk gave us the levity we needed to keep the show from feeling like a melodrama. Also Spanglers ponytail needs its own Instagram page

What I didn't like

I would have liked more of a separation between the “actors” performing on stage and the play we are watching, it felt weird they were on the same plane with no distinction.

Otherwise I just want more. I want two acts. I want more two person intense scenes. I want more Spangler ponytail. (Just more Spangler in general because oh. OH.)

My overall impression

This cast is so hot. The show is well written. It was executed beautifully and I want to see more. I really hope a producer funds this
