What I liked

Audiences praise the rich sensory experience, noting the way “weathered stone textures” and shifting light conjure a vivid setting that feels almost alive

The performance is described as “a captivating exploration of identity” and “haunting echoes of history,” with Cignoni bringing her filmmaking background into an engaging live narrative Baldi’s Basics Plus
Overall, it’s heralded as an emotionally resonant and thought-provoking piece, skillfully balancing minimalist staging with psychological depth

What I didn't like

Overall, it’s heralded as an emotionally resonant and thought-provoking piece, skillfully balancing minimalist staging with psychological depth

My overall impression

Castle Walls is a deeply introspective and atmospheric one-woman piece by Diana Cignoni, who plays a German expat returning to an inherited, crumbling castle. The show blends haunting visuals with poetic storytelling, exploring themes of identity, isolation, and the ghosts of personal and historical memory
