What I liked
The lighting and sound effects where impressively executed. The space was intimate and it was cool to be almost part of the experience.
What I didn't like
The fact that there was no air conditioning was a problem for me… I was warm and it was uncomfortable to have to sit in that.
My overall impression
I was impressed with the stage production and stage props where cool with a chair, a table, a blue suitcase, and red yarn! I enjoyed the visuals and how the yarn created the chaos in her life and how uniquely Nicole used the yarn to tell her story.
Nicole’s ability to share such an intense experience around ancestral trauma was superbly done! I also enjoyed the Audio pieces of the story, lots of great sound effects. Overall, intense, beautiful, and harrowing experience brought to life by Nicole’s believable performance.
