What I liked

As a fan of Chris, my immediate reaction was that Sardines is a great spiritual successor to his last show, Chris Grace Is Scarlett Johansson. If Scarlett cracks a window on Chris’ home life, Sardines throws it wide open.

What I didn't like

It’s a bit hard to suggest improvements for a work in progress, especially one where you have to imagine a key part of the planned final presentation. I saw it twice and Chris’ presentation was polished and genuine both times.

My overall impression

Genuine, moving, personal, and funny. Chris opens up so much of himself to explore what most people wouldn’t see as a comedic subject.
