Bedwetting is a solo show written and performed by LA based performance artist Annie Laurie Daniel. Part experimental theater, part clown performance, this piece reflects on substance abuse, heteronormativity, loneliness, and whether or not anyone really needs to go to art school. Absurd, tragic, and sometimes cringe, Bedwetting is an absurdist take on Gen Z’s desire for fame, identity, and the crushing isolation of artistic devotion.
