Clever writing, great acting and a story within the framework of the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Each character is well-defined and performed with integrity. I loved, loved Lorelei’s low-key depiction of the mother with an almost don’t-care participation in the intervention. Holding on to the iPad possibly to read the lines (I understand she stepped in at the last minute?) added another dimension to her character.
What I didn't like
Here and there, I felt the show could have been tighter. It’s just an overall feeling and I have no specific suggestions!
My overall impression
A deeply insightful play about family secrets that spill when a well-intentioned family tries an intervention!
