the story, the performances, the simplicity of the presentation for what is an ultimately complex narrative (and this worked well).

My overall impression
There were some very compelling layers of story to this play that made it unique, pleasant, and charming — even if the characters we see on stage are anything but. The juxtaposition of this dynamic between character and storyline was cool.
