What I liked
I liked the musician who keeps it light when it gets grim or nasty with her various sexcapades with potential love partners. He’s the humorous chorus. The voice of the father who recently died is soulful and funny. Lori’s descriptions of each scene are witty and creative.
What I didn't like
I would have liked to see a dog character on stage with Lori instead of a voice-over.
My overall impression
Lori tells it straight up, and it gets really dirty and shaken as she describes each encounter with the many Mr. Wrongs, sparing the audience not a single, and often hilarious, gory detail, all accompanied. by a great musician bring levity and sarcasm and fun to it all: her wild and raucous encounters, a dog that talks, screen projections from graveyards to dildos, and a story filled with an array of oddball characters. Lori bravely tackles a rather complex story that interweaves grief, dreams, a rescue dog, and navigating the search for love and meaning in a world where everyone seems to be on the take except for dad and dog.
