Keith plays Penny, an alcoholic sex worker surviving her way in the world. Her Irish dialect is clear and refreshing. I have an ear for dialects, and Keith’s was flawless.
Jacob Sidney (director and actor Charles Cross)comes through with a smart and well-turned-out Ripper. Also a clearly remarkable performer.
Thomas Fiscella and Natalie Dressel play the forensics team. But Natalie Dressel stole the show every time she was on stage.
What I didn't like
I was very impressed with the play. But also with the experimental ways they employed amusing touches, such as the “chalk on the blackboard.”
Excellent too was the “Mary Poppins” story included in the script.
My overall impression
Excellent work Crystal Keith. As the script writer, the producer, AND Penny, too? Your brilliance knows no bounds.
