The acting was all done to a level that defies the limits of the venue. The lead actor was very good. I liked seeing the side character actors get a chance to shine, they were all top notch.
What I didn't like
The script instantly reminded me of the 1979 film Time After Time, with the lead character time traveling to defeat Jack The Ripper. The inclusion of The Ripper leaves one with the forgone conclusion, that the Ripper must succeed. To deafeat Jack the Ripper would change our reality.
If the murders were unknown to us there might be more tension towards the outcome. Still it manages to play to the strengths of the cast to create a believable alternative world.
The ending seemed as though it were setting up a television series. It could have been tightened up a bit.
My overall impression
I found the show to be a fun distraction from reality. The lead actor was believable and interesting. The visual aids helped to get the audience to suspend their disbelief and join in on the Adventure.
