The women in this show are wise, angry, and viscerally human. So much of what they had to say resonated with me in a deliciously uncomfortable way. The writing here is especially sharp.
What I didn't like
I truly would have preferred a longer show that allows us to spend more time with these characters.
My overall impression
This show brilliantly combines fascinating Victorian true crime with science fiction and heroic tragedy, and I was delighted and startled at every turn. Each performer is perfectly cast, and you manage to get very attached to the characters within only a few minutes of dialogue at the beginning.
