Super original plot. Time travel + serial killer + real historical events has the potential to end up messy or contrived, but the story felt very fresh — probably due to the sharp dialogue and deft treatment of modern themes. Loved the strong undercurrent of feminism across time — it’s one of the better/more creative ways time travel has been used! The actors were intensely believable, each vulnerable in their own very human way. And the tech added some very nifty touches :)
What I didn't like
I don’t know, I’m a layperson. I guess I missed some bits of dialogue because of the accents, but that improved over the course of the play, so it might be me.
My overall impression
This show was HIGHLY entertaining. Creatively told, artistically directed, and beautifully acted… and also f*cking hilarious at times. The play plunges you in completely, and I wished I could’ve stayed in it for longer.
