Kelly’s ability to weave different elements of a story into a common narrative is so satisfying and cathartic. She takes pieces of her early life and connects them to her current battle with stage IV colon cancer, a connection that does not feel apparent until it feels like the most natural thing in the world. She’s a born storyteller, a relatable, kind, humorous performer with the ability to connect with audiences without the need for hooks or gimmicks. Just a damn good storyteller.

My overall impression
There is something really satisfying about a story well told, without any bells and whistles. This show is that – one performer, on stage, telling a well-crafted, engaging story that is human and humorous and touching. Highly recommend.
