What I liked
I was especially impressed with all of the places— in time, space and emotion!— that Kelly was able to take us, all on a stripped-bare stage. Masterful!
What I didn't like
Maybe a little side table for a water? :) It’s important to stay hydrated! Otherwise, can’t think of a thing.
My overall impression
Incredible. Kelly had the full house in the palm of her hand from beginning to end. Never maudlin, mostly funny, always insightful. It takes a lot to stand alone on a stage without so much as a podium to hide behind and just… tell your story. “Brave” can sound like a cringey or cliched thing to say, but this show was brave in the best of ways!
