What I liked

My favorite part of the show was her talking about teaching in Prison. The letter she got from one of her students was my high point of the show.
Other aspects I liked were where she talked about her need to be her own healthcare advocate. Her presentation never drags and the time at the show flies by. I also liked she never got into the why me that so many people with major illnesses seem to get caught up in.

What I didn't like

While it didn’t drag, hearing too much of people’s medical issues gets into some minutia that could be trimmed. I also didn’t identify with the need to leave a legacy.

My overall impression

I saw this show Sunday June 15th. I enjoyed the show and hope that Kelly continues to thrive in her recovery from Colin Cancer. Yes this show isn’t about growing up in Florida but about Kelly’s health journey, a heavy subject that Kelly still manages to find both humor and pathos in.
