What I liked

The music is live, and HUNNYSWEET’s chanteuse expertly juggles several roles – including the anthropomorphic personification of HUNNY, as well as Winnie-the-Pooh’s insatiable desire for that sweet reward.✨

What I didn't like

I wish they hadn’t been strapped for time, it seems like the group had to cut a few bits short (although they did so seamlessly). Previews were stacked that night!

My overall impression

This is the most adorable adults-only burlesque that I have ever seen. The artists perfectly blend innocence, naughtiness, and self-discovery while eliciting constant laughter and cheers, and the adulation is well-deserved. Pooh rubs his adorable tummy, Piglet feels the rain on their skin, Owl is quite sure he’s correct, and Eeyore learns to love herself and to shake it with (or without) her tail, thanks to the help of indomitable Tigger and the rest of their forest buddies. Grab tickets and enjoy the adventure; if the juxtaposition between the residents of the Hundred-Acre Wood and a burlesque story seems chancy, just remember that NO ONE in those stories ever wore pants – and if so, not for long✨
