The connection between the two actors was strong and you could see they were able to bounce off each other to keep momentum. You can really feel it in the slap. The writing was strong and you can tell how much research went into the performance. I also thought the pre-show questionnaires were a fabulous addition.
What I didn't like
The crowd work seemed to be the only place where the performance faltered.
My overall impression
A fun display of human emotion that tip toes between trauma and comedy. A traumedy if you will. The performers’ histrionics ask us to hold a mirror to ourselves when left in the wake of suffering, while keeping it light with amusing antics.
