IMPORTANT NOTE: We cannot certify this reviewer attended a performances of this show because no ticket was purchased through this website or the producer has not verified they attended.
The show excels at pointing out the absurdity of preaching positive attitudes towards the outcomes of major disasters, as well as the insanity of the logical conclusions of the gun lobby’s talking points. There are plenty of lines that elicit an uncomfortable combination of shock and laughter, where neither response feels entirely appropriate! Both actors nailed their roles to the point where I came close to missing that one actor played multiple parts!
What I didn't like
They ran out of questionnaire sheets for the faux seminar at the performance I attended. Not a big deal, but also easily fixable for future performances.
My overall impression
A fun, slyly satiric parody of disaster preparedness seminars that also tells the humorous story of a marriage on the rocks, and the start of a new love, or, at least lust!
